Beret Flash


Description/Blazon
A shield-shaped embroidered device with semi-circular base edged with a 1/8 inch (.32cm) yellow border, the overall dimensions 1 7/8 inches (4.76cm) and 2 1/4 inches (5.72cm) in height, on which is centered a black inner square within a band of eight alternating black and yellow rays. The beret flash was approved on 27 Aug 1981.

A yellow oval-shaped embroidered device 2 7/16 inches (6.19cm) in width and 1 3/8 inches (3.49cm) in height overall, edged with a 1/8 inch (.32cm) yellow border, on which is a black inner oval surmounting a band consisting of eight alternating yellow and black rays. The background trimming on 16 Aug 1963.
